January 2025
Williams Club of Farnham January 2025
At their first meeting for 2025 The Williams Club for the Visually Impaired of Farnham, they were introduced to their New Chair Person – Jenny who along with her little dog Lilli (both of whom were suitably attired in their matching Regency Frocks) presented Pugs and Prejudice about pampered pouches of the 19 th Century.
The Williams Club meets monthly, usually on the first Wednesday of the month between 2.00pm and 4.00pm often at the Baptist Church, Farnham. The Club has a full and exciting Calendar of Events for 2025, with lunches at Hayling Island, Squires Garden Centre and a Strawberry Tea outing plus various forms of entertainment, which is always followed by sumptuous teas that are kindly provided by assorted voluntary organisations.
There is a limited team of volunteer drivers who provide transport for the Members to and from the meetings but sadly only in the Farnham area, it would be wonderful to expand this service to further afield but we need a wider team of drivers. If you would like to help please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
Membership to The Williams Club is free and we welcome anyone with any kind of visual impairment, and if you are interested in joining or volunteering for the Williams Club please do not hesitate to contact Yvonne on 01252 713671 or Mike on 07470 525321, or visit our website www.williamsclubfarnham.co.uk
